    All BOYCO in-house timber is twice coated with our Anti-Microbial lacquer for protection against harmful bacteria. Ideal for use even in high traffic areas such as leisure centre changing facilities and school cloakrooms, this BOYCO technology ensures that our products offer protection from bacteria no matter how many times they are used.

    Developed due to increased demand for Anti-Microbial products, we strongly recommend BOYCO timber products for all healthcare spaces, and areas where hygiene matters most. As with all BOYCO technology, Anti-Microbial Lacquer has been designed with end users in mind, to offer added safety and protection.

    BOYCO's Anti-Microbial lacquer contains silver ion technology. Silver is a natural anti-microbial, that prevents bacteria from surviving or growing.

    Is all BOYCO timber Anti-Microbial?

    Yes. All BOYCO in-house timber is given 2 coats of Anti-Microbial lacquer at the point of manufacture.

    How long does the Anti-Microbial protection last for?

    BOYCO's Hot-Dip Nylon technology has been meticulously developed by our experts. Applied to BOYCO in-house metal work, this coating has been derived from castor oil, a waste / scrubland product that ensures that Hot-Dip Nylon is both 100% renewable and environmentally sustainable.

    Developed to offer both unmatched durability and anti-microbial protection, BOYCO's Hot-Dip Nylon see's our products recommended for high traffic settings such as school cloakrooms and gym changing areas, as well as being essential for hospitals and areas where good hygiene standards are critical.
